Reading before law school
What should you read before coming to law school? Books that immerse you in a law school experience or show you what it's like to be caught up in the practice of law will help you prepare. Rather than reading the kinds of books that you will read for your classes, which focus on the substance of the law, the following books will inform, enlighten, and inspire you about the work that you will be doing and the people that you will be working with as you progress from law school to law practice.
